2.5 Summary

This section serves to give you an introduction to the process of component globalization. In the beginning, component modules probably won't be very relevant to you as much of it deals with production level smart contracts. For example, metadata will be most relevant when it is deployed to the network so that it can be used to inform users about the component. However, knowing that component modules exist will help you along the journey. Much of the concepts around component modules will be expanded in Chapter 4: Introduction to Auth, where we can go to all the particulars of configuring component modules.

This wraps up Chapter 2 where we cover the structure of blueprints and components. In the next chapter, we will go in depth of resource creation and usage with Scrypto.
